2024年委託製作版本的大小野丘山，位在桃園兒童美術館內的一處安靜的廣場上，延續《遙控迷路野丘》系列， 藝術家以擬仿的手法，將傳統園林造型與遙控動力車形式並置，在兒童美術館展出大小兩座緩緩移動的動力山。讓城市的人們不用特地遠途開車到深山，在城市裡就能徒步登山看風景，繞出一條屬於自己的綿延山林秘境。這次的大野丘山移動的速度，平緩不顛頗，符合各年齡層的登山與打卡路線，給喜愛大自然的大小孩們，遛你家小狗認識別人家小狗。當人生中有糾結不開的煩情苦悶戲碼，歡迎來休息坐坐喝口水、曬曬太陽，在這裡通通放鬆治癒你。

The artwork "The Running Big Wild Hill " continuing the artist LIU Wen Chi past creative approach, employs the concept of "simulated imitation" to juxtapose traditional garden forms with remote-controlled car designs, creating one large and one small dynamic mountain.

This allows urban dwellers to enjoy hiking and scenery without the need to travel far into the mountains, creating their own mountain path within the city. The movement speed of the big hill is gentle and suitable for all ages, providing a hiking and sightseeing route that appeals to nature lovers of all ages, where you can walk your dog and meet other furry friends. When life presents tangled dramas, feel free to come, rest, drink water, bask in the sun, and relax and heal.

我發現怎樣也說不明白這種私人衝動經驗,當你大老遠跑去一個地方發現一件吸引你卻永遠帶不回的「對象」,就像那天搭著纜車上雪山,玻璃起霧瞬間,內心產生心血來潮的感性降臨,你會很想跟誰說,但其實根本說不清,這最初會帶著來一種殘酷的挫敗,後來你會發現這種殘酷無處不是且隨之而來,甚至偶爾帶點溫柔......

展場中展示了藝術家與冷氣師傅來回通信的風景明信片,兩人討論著如何在展場空間,完成一件藝術家委託冷氣師傅在展場製作因溫差而起霧的玻璃裝置的可能。那件起霧氣玻璃的風景裝置,是藝術家一次在瑞士旅行前往天使山的路上,坐在車廂座位上從起霧玻璃窗望向看出去的雪景畫面,「那是怎樣的冷?怎樣的畫面?」在兩人來回通信如何製作裝置過程,藝術家不斷以文字描述來自遙遠的瑞士雪山上的風景,而從未去過天使山的師傅,也嘗試以自己製作冷氣近三十年經驗揣摩著那裡的冷,那是藝術家與冷氣師傅,在來回對話中,一位年輕藝術家描述與近中年的冷氣師傅回想,在各自腦海記憶中偏向出兩種時間裡天使山的冷⋯⋯

《有一種叫天使山冷》借自熟悉的臺灣日常用語，「有一種冷叫阿嬤覺得你冷」。這句話原意帶著看似親暱，而急於理解或關切對方的態度。然而，其關心所指卻與對象不同調的狀態。作品源自2019年，劉文琪於一次冬季遠行至瑞士創作，途中遊歷了鄰近城市琉森（Luzern），觀光區內的一座「天使山」（Engelberg）。因感受到異國未曾有過高海拔下雪「冷」的私人經驗，想分享給長年在冷氣公司上班具備制冷專業的父親。面對父親詢問其遊歷雪山的好奇，卻無法以足夠的語言表達。展場中，藝術家虛構了與一位中年冷氣師返於瑞士和臺灣的明信片，內容談論著以天使山的冷，而委託製作起霧裝置的敘事為開端；以起霧玻璃裝置、擬造雪景、家中收藏童年塗鴉的冷氣工程圖作為物證，與名信片的內容互為隱喻，形塑出一個想像冷的多重敘事場景，試圖在觀者腦海產生屬於自身開放性的故事結尾，通向是否能接近遠方無法錨定之事物「冷」的提問。

"A Coldness named Engelberg" borrowed from the familiar Taiwan daily expression "There is a cold called grandma thinks you are cold". This sentence originally means to have an attitude of seemingly intimate and an eagerness to understand or care for the other party, but its concern refers to a state that is out of sync with the object. The work started in 2019. During a winter trip to Switzerland, Wen-Chi Liu visited Engelberg, a tourist area in Luzern city, and she had never had personal experience of "cold" snow at high altitudes. At the same time, Liu’s father, who has been working in an air conditioning company for many years specializing in refrigeration, is curious about her traveling in the cold snowy mountains in Europe. However Liu wasn’t able to find words that could appropriately describe the scenery.
In the exhibition, Liu created a postcard traveling between Switzerland and Taiwan with an imaginary middle-aged air conditioner operator to talk about the cold in Engelberg. The narrative of the glass device commissioned to make fog is the beginning. Through the fogging glass device in the exhibition hall, the planned snow scene, and the air-conditioner engineering drawing collected in my childhood graffiti in my home, as the physical evidence and the content of the dialogue between the scenic postcards are mutually metaphorical, forming a multi-narrative scene of imaginary cold. It tries to create an open ending of the story in the viewer's mind, leading to the question of whether it is possible to approach this unanchored thing "cold".
